Hey! If you consider yourself a “late bloomer” (whether you’re pushing 30 or 70), I’d LOVE the opportunity to chat about the joy you want in your one-and-only life!
The truth: You CAN’T live beyond the limits of your self-identity. What you expect, you’ll create. What you focus on, you’ll expand. You hold the power to do amazing things. So don’t waste another day, settling for a life that feels ho-hum, boring! Adventure is calling. You can feel it, right?! TODAY is the day for you to courageously exit your comfort cage and get started. YOU were born with purpose. No one else is supposed to do what you were put here to do. It’s not too late. You’re right on time. Let’s chat!
“Late bloomers are those who find their supreme destiny on their own schedule, in their own way.” Richard Karlgaard
Ready for Your Big Adventure?!
Let’s look at just a few “late bloomers” to motivate you to take action!
Grandma Moses didn’t begin painting until she was 77 and looking for something to do to “keep busy and out of mischief” after her husband died. Julia Child began her culinary career in her late 40s, and didn’t become a TV star until her 50s and 60s. Colonel Sanders started his famous friend chicken business at the ripe age of 65. J.K. Rowling went from being a single mom on welfare to published author at 32. Laura Ingalls Wilder wrote her first book, Little House in the Big Woods, at 65. Susan Boyle became an international singing sensation after her appearance on Britain’s Got Talent when she was 47. Diana Nyad became the first person to swim from Cuba to Florida without a shark cage when she was 64!
What do they all share? Courage, tenacity, and vision. These late bloomers also stumbled into fame or fortune, but that wasn’t their intent when they started. They simply took action, and in the process found their purpose. Thousands upon thousands of “late bloomers” the world has never heard of are likewise doing awesome things, making the world brighter as they share their hearts, skills, and knowledge. You could be doing the same!
Bridging the gap between where you are and where you want to be starts with curiosity and a vision that taps into your inherent superpowers and personality. If you’re not sure where to start in identifying your superpowers or setting your vision/action plan, I can definitely help. And it would be my honor!
It’s never too late to discover the joy of living in your purpose.
